- Memorial Day: We are open on Memorial Day to help you kick off the summer. Join us for a relaxing day of gaming and drinks.
- Independence Day (July 4th): Celebrate the nation's birthday with us! Our July 4th hours are typically adjusted to allow guests to enjoy local fireworks displays, so be sure to confirm our schedule.
- Labor Day: We are open on Labor Day, providing a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the long weekend with friends.
- Thanksgiving Eve & Thanksgiving Day: Thanksgiving Eve is a popular night for friends to reunite. We are typically open with regular hours. However, we are generally closed on Thanksgiving Day so our team can be with their families.
- Black Friday: After a long day of shopping, Bacchus is the perfect place to unwind. Check our Black Friday hours for a relaxing escape from the retail madness.
- Christmas Eve & Christmas Day: We typically operate with reduced hours on Christmas Eve and are closed on Christmas Day. We believe this time is precious for family and friends to be together.
Federal and Observational Holiday Hours
For other federal holidays, we generally maintain our regular business hours. This includes Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day. We are honored to be a favorite local spot for service members from Scott Air Force Base and the wider community. We always welcome those who serve and thank them for their dedication. For specific hours on days like Veterans Day or MLK Day, this page remains your best source for any last-minute changes.

It is also a wonderful place for a friends reunion when college pals or family members are back in town. The low-key yet upscale atmosphere of our lounge encourages conversation and connection, making it feel like an extension of your own living room, but with better drinks and more exciting entertainment. And for those visiting for the first time, our guide for the first-time video gaming visitor can help you feel right at home.

A Commitment to Responsible Gaming
While we want every guest to have a fantastic time, we are deeply committed to promoting a safe and responsible gaming environment. The holidays can be a stressful time, and it is important to play within your limits. We encourage all of our guests to set a budget before playing and to treat video gaming as a form of entertainment, not a source of income. If you ever feel that your gaming is no longer fun, or if you have concerns for yourself or someone else, please know that resources are available. We have compiled a list of responsible gaming resources, and our staff is trained to provide information discreetly and respectfully. Playing responsibly ensures that your experience remains enjoyable every time you visit.
Frequently Asked Questions About Holiday Hours
Is Bacchus Slots & Bar open on Christmas Day?
In observance of the holiday and to allow our team to celebrate with their families, we are typically closed on Christmas Day. We recommend checking our official Christmas Day hours page or this main holiday page for the most current information each year.
Do I need to make a reservation for a group during the holidays?
We do not require reservations as we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. However, the holidays can be a busier time. If you plan on visiting with a large group, we suggest arriving earlier in the day to ensure you can find seating together. Bacchus is a great group hangout spot for any celebration.
Are there any special holiday drink menus available?
Absolutely! We love getting into the festive spirit and often feature a seasonal drink menu with unique cocktails and beverages perfect for the holidays. Be sure to ask our talented bartenders about the current specials when you visit.
How can I confirm the exact hours for a specific holiday like Thanksgiving?
This page is your most reliable source for all holiday hours. We update it regularly to reflect any changes to our schedule. For day-of inquiries, you can always give us a call at the number listed on our contact page, but we make every effort to keep this online schedule accurate.
Does Bacchus have different hours on holiday weekends versus the holiday itself?
Sometimes we may offer extended hours during a holiday weekend, such as Memorial Day or Labor Day weekend, to give our guests more opportunities to relax and play. Any such extensions will be clearly posted on this page in advance of the holiday weekend.
